After a long successful battle we are happy to share that mahila kosh seems a reality today, an assurance of monetary and medical relief including reconstructive surgeries to women who are acid victims, victims of violence and also for educational and medical assistance to minor children of such victims when required, says something about Rani Laxmi Bai Mahila Samman Kosh.

To us its a positive attempt for all the women/girl child who may not be directly victims of heinous crimes but require critical social and economic empowerment.

Eligibility  

• All women pensioners who have been covered under any social pension schemes by Govt. of India. 
• All women pensioners who have been covered under any social pension schemes by UP Govt. 
• Destitute women residing in govt. homes.
• Girl child inmates residing in Govt./ NGO run Children Homes, Special Homes, Protection Homes, etc established/registered under Juvenile Justice Act 2000.
• Minor girl child /children of all women pensioners.
• Any other category of beneficiaries, if found below poverty line , as recommended by the District Steering Committee under District Magistrate and approved by the State Monitoring Committee headed by Chief Secretary.

Public contributions can be made online through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card in Account No. 34681306554 with State Bank of India, Jawahar Bhawan Branch, Lucknow.
